Whats the first thing you notice? What do you like the most? The least? What could make it better? Whats the first thing you thought when you saw this? What made you click this image? What do you think of my model?
The first thing I noticed about this image was the insane amount of freckles on her face. Did you add more, leave them as they were, or what? That got me looking at her gorgeous face.
The thing I like the most about this image is her stunning eyes! The reflects make them look so 3-D and multi-dimensional. The expression you're getting from her eyes is piercing and amazing, I really like that intensity going there.
The thing I like the least about this image is probably her sparse eyebrows... You probably should have used the burn tool or the airbush tool to darken/fill them in a little bit. I think it would make her whole face look a lot more intense if she had more defined brows. She has this really intense stare going on and her expression is fierce - but the weak brows kind of ruin it a little bit.
The first thing I thought when I saw this was holy F*#$&@* she has a lot of freckles!!
The thing that made me click was her expression.
Overall, I think this image had a very high impact on me, would've gotten 5 stars for impact if her brows had been as fierce as the rest of her face...
She definitely has a pleasing set of features to look at, I think you picked a good subject. She looks young and fresh-faced and overall looks great. I'm actually diggin' the freckles.
Run-down of the star ratings:
Vision: 4.5 stars - I rated this 4.5 out of five because I think overall what you were going for was something very fierce, and you portrayed it well - except for her weak brow, like I've mentioned previously. If her brows were stronger, 5 stars would be in order.
Originality: 3 stars - I rated this 3 out of five because the vision was good, but I'm not too sure it was thought out long enough to be completely original, this seems like a type of portrait I've seen a few times.
Technique: 4 stars - Four out of five because the image is very sharp and in focus, it has a nice clear focal point, and generally decent editing. I'm not sure if you touched up her face at all (doesn't entirely look like you did) but I think it would've been a much stronger image with fiercer brows. I know I've repeated that a thousand times in this critique but I think that would really make the image stand out a lot more.
Impact: 4 stars - Again, the brow thing reduced the impact a little for me, but the image is still very strong, and she looks very fierce and confident. This image was framed nicely and the field of view is nice and tight.
Overall: you shot a very fine image, and this is very, very good - but I think it could be amazing with the brow fix.
